What is Electric Sunshine?

Are the words that came through.

Before knowing what it would be we felt the words -  the energy it carried.

So we scribbled down a symbol.
Stopped there.
And started there.

With the soul of the project.

The Power of the Sun

We found inspiration in our travels to tropical countries, where we spent countless evenings chasing sunsets at the beach; looking at the smiling faces of others doing the same thing. We asked ourselves, "What does the sun do for people?"

The Sun Unites Us

Transcending boundaries of gender and nationality. In the glow of the setting sun, people gather, forming connections- old friends and new as they witness nature's spectacle. Groups form; a guitar and a circle of songs. Stories are shared -  half naked and covered in sand and sea water; laughter fills the air - the universal language of joy.

The Sun Brings Colour

Under its light we play and explore. Its warmth welcomes people to be open, to be simple, to embody its warmth in their own energy.

Our Mission as Sunlight

And so we understood our mission of connection. A bringing of light, warmth, play, and color into people’s lives. It’s the way we used to be - as children; free, ecstatic, playful, radiant, expressive.

We are simply facilitating the (re)ignition of that spark - the inner light that you’ve always possessed. 

At the soul of Electric Sunshine lies the belief that we each have the power to create and bring light into the world. Through our art, how we carry ourselves, the acts of service we do for others in our community; our goal is to awaken people to that inner radiance and embrace the power we have to illuminate the lives of those around us.

All it takes is to start.
